That were the reasons I went to Banggood and ordered a Massage gun to test it out. I got an unbranded Message gun to test. Let’s find out!

My brother does a lot of fitness. After the days with some heavy lifting he often has a lot of muscle strain. With the muscle gun he wants to try if it will be less after some days.
For myself that is not the case, I only have injuries in back and shoulder due the fact that I sit all day in front of a computer. Shall a massage with the message gun aid us both?

There are several massage heads included but are not from rubber of soft material. On the product there was no description for the use of the heads but this are the different heads and their application:

Build Quality & Design

It feels solid and the design is simple. It looks like a electric screwdriver but a little bigger.

Heath and noise

The gun would not be hot or make a lot of noise compared to a power drill. But for a message gun it can be maybe too noisy.

Portability / Mobility

The Massage gun comes in a bag that stores the extra massage heads and the adapter. Easy to store and to take it with you on a Snowboard holiday for example.

Usability

The muscle gun handle it very thick and robust, so the maneuverability is not easy at all. The massage heads are from plastic and therefore very hard. I prefer more soft heads.

Alternatives products

As mentioned before, I would use the message gun for my shoulder. But I bought also a message pillow from Aliexpress. I must say for my usage this is much better. Due infrared and a more soft and light massage it’s more comfortable. Also the fact that you can attach it on a chair while working or sitting in the car and you have you hands free is nice.

Price quality

The price is low and the gun is solid. But I would spend more for a xiaomi massage gun that would be smaller and would have more functions I think.

Verdict

Because of the dimensions and weight it is sometimes not that handy to manoeuvre. And the fact that the speeds are hard, harder hardest is for a soft message not that good. Use it for muscle injuries instead of relaxation messages. I think this massage gun is maybe a lot nicer is a other person use it by you than do it yourself and I think you must know how to use it and what to do with it.
