The Xiaomi Mijia Honeywell Gas Leak Detector is a safe and solid extension on your collection of home sensors. Next to the Gas Leak Detector there also is a smoke detector. But the Gas Leak Detector detects the presence of natural gas (methane) in the atmosphere. You can install it for example in a kitchen equipped with a stove or a boiler fueled by natural gas. It communicated over the Zigbee protocol and can talk with the Xiaomi Aqara Gateway.
